I am a recent Tigers fan. My name is Debra Shaw and I live in Brisbane Australia.

I've been following the team since my brother Darren joined and my family and I are all incredibly proud of Darren and what he has achieved. I haven't seen Darren for a couple of years because of his footie career and I miss him like nothing on earth. Hope he does your team proud.

Exiled Cas fan living in North London. Born and bred in Allerton Bywater and started down the lane at the tender age of 7...some 23 years ago.

Seen some great matches and performances, although current side is a shadow of the former sides. What has happened to Classy Cas???

Claire Haigh

E-Mail : clairewith@hotmail.com

Hi my name is Claire Haigh, I'm 17 (nearly 18!! 4 months woooo!) and I live in Brighouse.

I am currently at Greenhead College in Huddersfield doing my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Englsh
Language and I will hopefully be going to Manchester Uni next year, fingers crossed!

I am one of a few dying species of Halifax supporters left and after the garbage season that we have just
endured, I would prefer nice comments only please about the "super sox"! ha!

However on the positive side, Classy Cas are one of my second favourite teams in rugby league. Not only
the brilliant variety of food that can be purchased in that marquee thingy, that ace pub across the road
from the ground and the friendly supporters that I seem to bump into when I visit Wheldon Road (aka The
Jungle) you also have THE finest player in Super League and all the ladies will know EXACTLY who I
mean!!

I even heard a rumour that we were getting "sex god Danny" for a swap with Andrew ( I ain't getting paid so
I ain't being played )Duneman! Huh, I wish!

The only complaint about The Tigers is that public address system. This year when we came over you
could hardly hear yourself think let alone talk because of the constant 'boom boom boom' being forced
down your ear drums. I wouldn't mind if they varied the music variety. 'Cheesy pop' for 30 minutes before
the match is not everyones' idea of fun!

On the subject of favourite matches, I still think the match at Thrum Hall in the early/mid nineties when
Lee Crooks and Paul Bishop had a bit of fisticuffs was one of the best but, this has been joined with the
Challenge Cup victory in 2000 when we beat you with a Dunny drop goal. If only we hadn't have got the
Bradford in the next round, who knows what might have been!

Anyways, hope you lot have a good off season and the best of look for 2003!

Mark Tonks

E-Mail : mark@godata.co.uk

Known as "Hudds CasFan" on this and other RL message boards, I am aged 25 and I work as an Analyst/Programmer for a software house in Leeds.

Despite the surname, I am not related in any way to Cas second-rower and makeshift hooker Ian Tonks.

I have been a lifelong tigers supporter, as I originally come from Cas and lived there until I was11. I then lived in Selby until I moved to Huddersfield 3 years ago because of my (then) job.

My favourite Cas players at the moment are Aaron Raper and Danny Orr, and my favourites of all time would be Graham Steadman, Keith England and Ronnie Gibbs.

My least favourite Cas player ever would have to be David Nelson (about as much hand-to-eye co-ordination as Frank Spencer), and most overrated player of the current squad would be Lee Harland (what exactly is he good at??).

The best Cas match I ever saw was the Regal Trophy final vs Wigan, not original I know, but it was excellent. Oh, and any game where we beat the Rhinos!!

My name is Jamie Pickersgill

I play for the Crofton Cougars under18's and have supported Cas for about 7 years now. The first team I went to watch they played against Salford.

My favourite player is Danny Orr and my favourite match was on the 18 August against Leeds I had a bet on for £10 that they would win and they did.

See you all later, Jam

Thomas Peniston

E-Mail :T.Peniston@Bradford.ac.uk

Ello I’m Thomas Peniston from Townville, I’ve been a Cas fan since I was 8 so that’s a decade of supporting Cas as I’m now 18 (isn't maths great?)

My most memorable match was the Regal Trophy win in 1994, stuffing Wigan for the second time in a season is a rare thing.

I've really got to say my favourite player of all time is my grandad, John Sheridan, who played in the 50's and 60's and he  coached Cas, Leeds and Doni.

At present the best player down the lane is Deano, who's been powerful and at the top of his game for years. My most painful moment was losing at home to Paris!

Nuff said!!!

Ian Nicholson

E-Mail : inicky@supanet.com

I am Ian Nicholson, 45 from Ulleskelf, Nth Yorks. I saw a couple of games in season 99 and enjoyed it so much that I got a season ticket for season 2000, the highlights for me were beating Leeds and London away.

Sad to see Brad go as he has been a good player for the team. Looking forward to some new players for next season as the squad needs to be strengthened.

I'm not a great fan of the Tigers, but I'm really interested in them and I like to know what they're getting up to!

I watch them on SKY when they're playing and have only known about them for max. 1 year. My dad bought me the home shirt about a month ago 'n' I'm begging for the away one to match, but he won't buy it for me!!

I'm Andy from York and supported Cas for ten years.

Best player now , in my opinon is Danny Orr but of all time I'd say Tawera
Nikau.

The best match was when we beat Wigan (scum) in the Regal trophy final at Headingley.

Mick Hallinan

E-Mail : mhallinan@optusnet.com.au

Gidday, my name is Mick I live in Brisbane, Australia. I visited the U.K. in march and stayed at Chesterfield for a week, so while I was sightseeing, I came to Castleford to look for the club - congratulations, it was so easy to find, street signs & big billboards - that's great advertising for the GREATEST GAME OF ALL.

I bought a jersey and a pair of shorts, and because its winter here now I wear the jersey all the time, so I'm advertising the club out here too. I follow the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL and the EAST'S club in Brisbane, they are also THE MIGHTY TIGERS, of course I support QUEENSLAND in the state of origin (GO ALFIE). Anyway it was great to see league in England, and I do get to see Castleford play on pay tv here, they're going alright.

So keep on supporting RUGBY LEAGUE and well make it the biggest & greatest game in the world.

See ya later

Sarah

E-Mail : Sarahc@bushinternet.com

Hi to all Castleford fans.

My name is Sarah and I have been a rugby supporter for years, but only supported Castleford for the last five (thanks to my ex-boyfriend).

I only got to my first live home game early last year, against Wigan, so this has to be my most memorable. The atmosphere was phenomenal and something that I will never forget.

My favourite players so far have to be Danny Orr and Dean Sampson.

I will continue to support  Castleford as much as is  humanly possible, with more home game visits planned for this year.

Good look to Castleford Tigers for this coming season.

Cheers, Sarah

Glynnpot

My name is Glynnpot and I support Castleford Tigers. My favourite Cas player is Dominic Brambini. I live in North Wales. I went to the Grand Final at Old Trafford in 2005 . I sat with the Leeds fans. I hope Cas can reach first the top six and then go into a Grand Final. If Hull can win a Challenge Cup then so can the Tigers!
