Junction 7. Take exit signposted "Widnes", follow this bypass for a few miles
until you come to a large traffic light system, turn right here following for
Town Centre. Carry straight on at the roundabout with a KFC restaurant on it,
passed two sets of traffic lights, take the first turning after the college
for general parking. For the stadium continue until the T-Junction and turn
right.

Follow the M62 all the way eastwards to J38 where it joins the A63, follow
this under the bridge and over the flyover, carry on over the roundabout still
along the A63, at the next roundabout join the A1033 (Hedon Road) keep going
until you come to the signs for Craven Park (opposite Olivers garage) where
you turn left at the traffic lights down Marfleet Lane. At the next traffic
lights turn right onto the dual carriageway (Preston Road). Craven Park is
about half way down on your right opposite the cemetary. Parking at ground
costs 50p.

Directions: Follow the M62 and leave the
motorway at Junction 10 signposted M6. From the M6 leave at Junction 36 (A590) and
follow signs to Kendal A590. Continue on the A590 to Barrow, through Ulverston,
Lindall in Furness and Dalton in Furness straight into Barrow. After the ASDA
roundabout, take the first left onto Duke Street. Barrow RLFC is on the right
hand side further down the road.

at Junction 28 (Tingley), take the road to Dewsbury (A653) approx 2 miles to
the 'Babes in the Wood' pub and traffic lights, turn right at the lights into
Soothill Lane. Travel the full length of the lane turning right at the T junction,
straight through the lights towards Batley Town Centre, along Wellington Street
take the 3rd left into Victoria Avenue, Mount Pleasant is at the top of the hill.

How to get to Don Valley
By car from the South: Leave the M1 at junction 34. Take the second exit and follow the road straight on. Don Valley is approximately 2 miles on the left.
By car from the North: Leave the M1 at junction 34 (Sheffield Meadowhall). Take the fourth roundabout exit (A6109 Meadowhall Road). Proceed along this road, passing the Meadowhall centre, for approximately 2 miles. Turn left on the B6083 Newhall Road (by the Texaco garage) to the T-junction. The Don Valley Stadium is opposite.
By car from Sheffield City Centre: Travel through the wicker and along Attercliffe Common towards Meadowhall. Don Valley is approximately 2 miles from the city on the right.
By Public Transport:
Bus: A large number of bus routes serve the stadium from Sheffield Passenger Interchange, Route numbers include 2, 69, 130, 287.
Supertram: Sheffield's light rail system has a dedicated stop within 100 metres of the stadium. Trams connect from various points of Sheffield, including the City Centre and Meadowhall.

Ground Details - Tiny seated stand down one side, covered stand on other side split between seats and terraces. Large uncovered terraces behind both goals, terracing is pretty steep so viewing is OK apart from the distance the pitch is away. For some reason there is a large gap between the end of the pitch and the terracing despite the fact that it is a very short pitch.
Road Directions - Take M62 east. Take exit 24 and follow signs for 'Eureka' on the A629 to Halifax. Pass Elland and keep going following signs for Halifax town centre. You can't miss the ground, the tall floodlights are clearly visible on the right, if you get to the town centre you've managed to miss it. The Shay is on the left approximately 500 yards before reaching 'Eureka'.
Getting There by Rail - The most direct (and quickest) route is to get a train From Manchester Victoria to Halifax. You can get a train to Leeds from Piccadilly and change for Halifax. The direct route takes about an hour. You can see the floodlights on the left just before you reach Halifax station. The ground is only a few minutes walk away, so either turn left out of the end of the station approach, or head straight on into the town centre for a drink.

Junction 29. Onto M1 towards "Leeds". Come off the M1 Junction 45
(Hunslet/Beeston). Turn left at top of slip road into Tunstall Road carry on
to the T-junction and turn left into Dewsbury Road (A653) and then turn left
at second main set of lights into Middleton Grove. The ground is at the top
on the left past the industrial estate.

Junction 26 along the M606 towards Bradford, head towards city center and
follow signs which lead you onto the A650 through Shipley and Bingley. When
on the outskirts of Keighley you will come to a roundabout after the Magnet
showroom, take the first exit through Riddlesden, follow this for about 1.5
miles upto another round about, take the third exit, the ground is on the
left behind a petrol station.

straight across the next roundabout (second exit) into Roch Valley Way and

straight on down this road and you will come across the ground on the right
hand side.

roundabout, turn left (first exit) down A58 (signposted Town Centre), carry
straight across the next roundabout (second exit) into Roch Valley Way and

straight on down this road and you will come across the ground on the right
hand side.

miles turn right into Gigg Lane (unclassified) for Bury F.C. ground on right.

Directions: Take M62 to M6, leave M6 at
Junction 40. Follow A66 to Keswick/Cockermouth/Workington. On entering
Workington down a steep hill (Ramsey Brow) to a T-junction. Henry Curwen pub
on right corner, turn left at first set of traffic lights. Approx 300 yards turn
right and continue through to next set of traffic lights until you come to the
Railway Station. At this point, cross the junction and drive in front of the
station, keeping in the left hand lane, ignore the first turning on your
left and at about 100 yards turn sharp left into a narrow road leading to the
Derwent Park stadium.
