Ground - The Alfred McAlipne Stadium.
Address - Stadium Way, Leeds Road, Huddersfield, HD1 6PZ.
Telephone - 01484-530710

Ground Details - Covered seating on all sides, only 2 sides normally open for games. Good viewing all round, pretty expensive though. The choice is between the top tier of the Lawrence Batley Stand (most expensive), the lower tier of the Lawrence Batley Stand, and the John Smiths Stand (cheapest), the majority of Salford fans use the John Smiths Stand. Stewards will try to make you sit down but will give up after a while.

Road Directions - Take M62 east (stadium is signposted from the motorway). Exit at junction 24 and follow the A628 to Huddersfield. When you get into town, turn left onto the ring road. Turn left into the A62 (Leeds Rd). Ground id on the right. Expect to pay about £3 to park on a bombsite.

Getting There by Rail - Get a train to Huddersfield station, it takes about 35 minutes. When you exit the station the George Hotel is on the left. To walk to the Stadium will take about 20 minutes. Pass the George Hotel and cross the road and pass a pub called the Crescent. Keep going straight and you'll get to two pubs next to each other near the ground, turn right between these pubs to get to the stadium. Alternatively, have a few drinks in the town centre and save drinking time by getting a cab down to the pubs near the ground (one is called the Market Tavern).
