Ground Details - Tiny seated stand down one side, covered stand on other side split between seats and terraces. Large uncovered terraces behind both goals, terracing is pretty steep so viewing is OK apart from the distance the pitch is away. For some reason there is a large gap between the end of the pitch and the terracing despite the fact that it is a very short pitch.
Road Directions - Take M62 east. Take exit 24 and follow signs for 'Eureka' on the A629 to Halifax. Pass Elland and keep going following signs for Halifax town centre. You can't miss the ground, the tall floodlights are clearly visible on the right, if you get to the town centre you've managed to miss it. The Shay is on the left approximately 500 yards before reaching 'Eureka'.
Getting There by Rail - The most direct (and quickest) route is to get a train From Manchester Victoria to Halifax. You can get a train to Leeds from Piccadilly and change for Halifax. The direct route takes about an hour. You can see the floodlights on the left just before you reach Halifax station. The ground is only a few minutes walk away, so either turn left out of the end of the station approach, or head straight on into the town centre for a drink.
