Ground Details - Covered seating uncovered terracing on one side. Covered standing down the full length of the pitch on the other side. Both ends are standing, one covered (generally home fans) the other open. The open end is where away fans usually congregate. The terracing is steep and close to the pitch so the viewing is OK.
Road Directions - Take M62 east. Exit at junction 31 and follow the A655 to Castleford. When you get into town, turn right at a roundabout into the A6032 (Aire St). At the next roundabout, take second exit into Wheldon Road. Ground is about 300 yards on the right.
Getting There by Rail - You need to get a train to Leeds and change onto a train to Castleford, it's only about 15 minutes from Leeds to Castleford. Out of the Station take the road on the right hand side of the car park past the British Legion. After the Liberal Club there is a pub on the right hand corner (great grub). Turn right after this pub and follow the street down to a roundabout (this is the second roundabout from the road directions). It is about a 5-10 minute walk from the station to the ground. There is a Rugby League pub opposite the ground.
