Castleford's Super League exile looks increasingly likely to last just 12 months after they extended their 100% winning record in the second tier of English rugby league to nine matches.
They did so brutally, battering outclassed Batley 60-12 at The Jungle, stepping up the pace in the second half to stay firmly on course for the LHF Healthplan National League One title.
Batley, who actually led through Aiden Lister's second-minute try, saw their hopes extinguished when second-rower Shaun Richardson was sent off in the 35th minute for flattening Brad Davis.
But by that stage Castleford were already convincingly in front, with Davis, Andy Henderson, Frank Watene and Deon Bird scoring first-half tries.
Batley's Craig Lingard cut the gap to 12 points after half-time, but further tries for the home side from Michael Shenton (two), Bird, Damien Reid, Steve Crouch, Michael Platt and debutant Ryan Boyle wrapped up a crushing victory.
Michael Platt scored a hat-trick of tries as Castleford made it 10 wins out of 10 by overwhelming Doncaster 40-16 at the Jungle.
Their mission to finish top of LHF Healthplan National League One looks destined for success, with only Whitehaven providing serious rivalry at this stage of the season.
Castleford ran in seven tries today against injury-hit Doncaster, with Platt, Michael Shenton and Andy Bailey touching down in a devastating eight-minute spell during the first half.
While Platt completed his treble, Frank Watene and Gareth Handforth also plundered tries to leave Doncaster outclassed.
The Dragons did respond with two second-half tries from Craig Lawton, but they were never in the match and had Gareth Handford sin-binned twice.

Castleford got their promotion bid back on track by completing a League double over Oldham in the 32-20 victory.
Craig Huby and Waine Pryce both scored two tries as the National League One leaders recovered from losing their previous two matches.
Castleford built an 18-10 first-half lead but Oldham cut the gap to two points shortly before half-time when former Tigers player John Goddard scored.
Oldham were in the hunt until midway through the second half when winger Pryce scored two decisive tries in a nine-minute spell.
Andy Cain and Deon Bird were Castleford's other try-scorers while Chris Hough, Gareth Barber and Nick Johnson also crossed for Oldham.
