Strong running full back who is one of the best all round last lines of defence in Superleague.

A local product who came through the Academy set up after playing with Redhill Juniors, Jason is not afraid to support on attack and chips in with a regular supply of tries.

A GB Academy International with full caps for Scotland.

 

13 Adrian Vowles

The Club Skipper recruited from Australia, Adrian was a key player in the Tigers ranks in Superleague 97' and 98', when he was the clubs player of the year, leading very much from the front.

In 1999 he won the Superleague Man of Steel honour.

His qualities on both attack and defence illustrate why.

9 Aaron Raper

An Australian international player and brother of coach Stuart, Aaron was the Kangaroo's number 9 when they played South Africa in the 1995 World Cup.

Formerly with Cronulla and Parramatta, he was much sought after , but the skillful hooker with strong organisational skills opted for the Tigers where he set to a good impression.

 

15 Darren Shaw

Born in Victoria, Australia, Darren started playing senior football at 18 with the Queensland side, Ipswich Jets and later Brisbane Wests. 

In 1992 he gained representative honours with the Queensland Residents side and then played for Brisbane Broncos in the 1993 and 1994 season. 

He had three seasons with London Broncos between 1994-6 and in 1997 played for Canberra Raiders. 

He has represented Scotland eight times including the 1995 Emerging Nations Championship and also in the Fiji Nines Competition in 1996.

 He played in both of Scotland's games in October 1998 v France and Ireland. 

He can play prop or second row.
