Jon 'came home' last season when he joined the Tigers midway through the season on a loan deal from the Leeds Rhinos.

Jon had a brief loan spell with the London Broncos in 2002 and with first team openings limited at Headingley Jon was happy to grab his chance at the Tigers. He impressed enough to be offered a contract with the Tigers and when the season ended he made a permanent switch to the Jungle.

Jon originated from the Castleford area, playing his junior rugby with the Castleford Panthers before he signing for the Rhinos on his return from tour with the BARLA GB Juniors.

Equally at home at half back or in the hooking role, Jon has a bright future ahead of him.
